Wild West
A little piece of the Wild West, with a distinctly vintage twist.
Wild West is a one-of-a-kind shadowbox artwork featuring nine original vintage matchboxes, mostly dating from the 1950s–1980s. A rich mix of reds brings the collection together, while several standout designs give the piece its Western character.
At the centre is a striking matchbox featuring a saddle, with WILD WEST in bold lettering and RANGE GEAR beneath. Alongside it, a Pathfinder matchbox and a Bronco Brand design featuring a horse add to the Western feel. The remaining matchboxes bring their own colours and vintage graphics to the composition, creating an eclectic collection of printed details and typography.
Part vintage collection, part original artwork, it's a celebration of the wonderfully varied designs found on everyday objects from another era. A distinctive piece for lovers of Western imagery, vintage advertising, graphic design and nostalgic ephemera.
