Jumping In captures a fleeting summer moment: a woman jumping from a boat onto the dock, reaching for the hand of the man waiting for her. Beneath them, layers of torn and shredded paper become choppy, moving waves in a predominantly blue and white palette.
The original handmade collage brings together two very different ways of working — precise scalpel-cut imagery alongside loose, freehand tearing — creating a playful contrast between control and movement.
Joyful, nostalgic and full of summer energy, Jumping In is a little celebration of those moments when you stop thinking and simply go for it.
