Daydreaming is a surreal celebration of imagination and the quiet freedom of letting your thoughts wander. Taking a familiar vintage portrait and transforming it with clouds and birds, the piece blurs the line between the everyday and the dreamlike — suggesting an inner world that is far more expansive than what we see on the surface.
The collage explores that moment when you drift away from where you are, lost in thought, memory or possibility. There’s something wonderfully liberating about allowing yourself to disappear into your own imagination for a while.
Created from my original handmade collage, Daydreaming brings together vintage imagery and surrealism to create a dreamlike moment suspended somewhere between reality and reverie.
Daydreaming was selected for a featured collection by the Head Curator at Saatchi Art.
